Often having it on the table when you serve a meal. And in this scenario, a block of butter still in its shop bought wrapper just won't do. Oh no.
What you need is a proper butter dish, with a lid to keep the butter fresh, but also make the butter look better sitting on the worktop in your kitchen, or alongside your carefully chosen tableware set on your dining table. Like this one here!
Made from ceramic, and in our favourite colour green, this is somewhere in between contemporary and retro with its embossed 'butter' on the lid. Making it very versatile indeed.
