What's your favourite thing about growing plants? Is it the nurturing of a living thing? The beauty of them? For us it's the being able to grow whole new plants from cuttings of existing plants. You start out with one spider plant and before you know it you have twenty! Brilliant.
Are you scared to try propogating yourself though? Need a little help? Or just want something a bit better looking than loads of cuttings shoved in an old jam jar? Whatever your reason, we think you will love the Bobèche Plants.
You simply take cuttings of the plant you want to propogate, below a leaf node (our mini gardening snips are good for this). Pop them in a wide mouthed vase or glass (or old jam jar), pop the Bobèche on top (after filling with water), and then add your cuttings. It will stop the leves getting wet (which can cause the cutting to rot), whilst making sure the roots stay wet, prevent them flopping about and just look, well, better. And you know how we like things to look nice as well as be useful. He was on to something, that William Morris... Simply change the water every few days and watch in awe as the cuttings you took grow roots. You can then repot them and voila! A new plant. This generally works for houseplants and gaden plants.
The Bobèche Plants measures 11 cm in diameter at the top, 3 cm at the bottom and is 4 cm high. It is handmade in Portugal meaning each will have subtle differences in its finish and makes a really wonderful gift.

- We try to dispatch orders the next (business) day. Often we dispatch the same day and allstandard orders are dispatched within 2 (business) days. Express delivery orders are given priority.
- Standard delivery orders arrive 2-3 days after dispatch.

BUT WHO ARE WE?
Albert & Moo was set up in 2017 by Lianne Westwood after more than a decade working for numerous other E-commerce brands and retailers (including a four year stint at Amazon UK). In 2016 she did an interior design diploma, thinking she wanted a career change, but instead she had an idea for her very own website blending her knowledge of retail, her love of interiors and a passion to support small, independent brands. A year later Albert & Moo was born. It was named after her (at the time) pet bearded dragons, Albi and Mooli.
Now in its ninth year, and following a relocation from London to Suffolk, Albert & Moo is still run by Lianne, but she sometimes has help from her five year old daughter (!), and her love of interiors has spread to include all things plants and gardening.
All orders are packed by Lianne herself from her garden studio and are plastic free (unless reusing the bubble wrap stock arrives in). She is eternally grateful for every single order. Genuinely, thank you.
